In early 2009, the need to develop a tourist oriented mobile application was identified. The system was initially developed to support the evolving requirements of a Business Improvement District and Tourism organisations. The development and improvement of the product is continual as we add on additional functionality and platform support to reflect the needs of the evolving market.

The initial version of the solution was developed in conjunction with Dublin City BID and having deployed the iGuide Dublin App, it was the reciepient of the prestigious ' Best Business Idea Award' at the British BIDs conference in 2011. It has also been awarded the Top Town Itea at the Scotland's Town Conference in 2011.
